What is Reimagine Rosemead Blvd?
Rosemead Boulevard is one of South El Monte's main north-south corridors. This street provides bus connections, and access to Whittier Narrows Park, Rio Hondo Trail, and Lashbrook Park. Reimagine Rosemead Blvd is a planning study that will identify opportunities to enhance the corridor to better support residents and businesses, set the stage for the future development, enhance safety and create a lively and connected street for neighbors and visitors to stop, walk, bike, and shop.
What is a Complete Street?
A Complete Street is a street that allows people to move safely regardless how they choose to travel. It provides choices for people to feel comfortable walking, biking, using public transit, or driving without reservations about choosing one over another.
